Bernd Wulffen Arrested in South Africa

According to the Sunday World of South Africa, Bernd Wulffen was arrested Friday in Cape Town. Wullfen, who’s pattern of fraud and deceit left a trail of dissatisfied soccer and handball players in the United States and Canada, apparently wore out his welcome in South Africa. Confronted with evidence, by reporter Kgomotso Sethusha, who had earlier written a favorable article on his program, Wulffen reportedly apologized and hinted that he would be leaving the country. Instead of leaving, however, he stayed in country and was lured into a police sting operation. His bail hearing is scheduled for Monday.
